Gregory McCarthy is the instructor for this course. McCarthy received his Ph.D. in Biological Psychology from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He then served on the faculty at Yale School of Medicine in the Departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery, and as a Career Research Scientist at the Neuropsychology Laboratory at the West Haven VA Medical Center. He moved to Duke University in 1996 to become Professor of Radiology and Neurobiology, and the founding director of both the Duke-UNC Brain Imaging and Analysis Center and the VISN6 Mental Illness Research, Education, and Clinical Center. McCarthy returned to Yale in 2006 where he is currently the Henry Ford II Professor of Psychology.
