The Grant Hagan Society, a recently-formed affinity group for graduate students of color in the Music Department, is pleased to host its inaugural event on Feb 14 2020, Navigating the (Music) Academic Job Market as a Person of Color!

About the event

The event features panels on race, ethnicity, and the job market, as well as general strategies for how to succeed on the market and write a compelling diversity statement. Participants include our own Daphne Brooks and Michael Veal, as well as Alex Chávez (University of Notre Dame), Ellie Hisama (Columbia University), and Matthew Morrison (NYU).
