The Roy Scrivner Memorial Research Grant of the American Psychological Foundation and encourages the study of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) family psychology and LGBT family therapy. The Grants-In-Aid Program of the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues promotes the scientific research in social problem areas, such as interpersonal violence, marriage equality, and immigration reform.
