I was asked to provide insights on interspecific love to journalist Bill Sones in 2006, with the release of Peter Jackson’s King Kong remake (I respectfully remain committed to the 1933 original).

My very first conference presentation was in 1994 at the Smithsonian – I gave a talk on marshmallows, focusing on potential diphyly of the common and dwarf lineages.  There is video somewhere, but I’ve never seen it… thankfully.
