I am a 4th year PhD Candidate in the Department of Astronomy at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. With Dr. Héctor Arce, I study how newborn stars excavate their birth clouds. I am also passionate about science education and outreach.

If you are visiting New Haven, check out my shows at the Leitner Family Observatory and Planetarium!

For a gentle introduction to current astrophysics research, take a look at my paper summaries on Astrobites.

High schoolers interested in astrophysics and computer programming should check out the Yale Summer Program in Astrophysics, where I served as the inaugural teaching fellow.
