Research

Yale

  • CUORE Data Analysis, 2014-Present
    • Assessed systematic contributions for 2-neutrino double-beta decay measurement efforts
    • Quantified Toy Monte Carlo and systematics studies for world-leading Te130 0-neutrino limit results
  • CUORE Simulations Working Group, 2014-Present
    • Generated Geant4 simulations to simulate radioactive decays in the experimental setup
    • Explored additional sources in background model for CUORE
  • CUORE Detector Calibration System software and hardware, 2014-Present
    • Updated Labview software to run motors to operate in calibration
    • Wrote technical documentation to perform calibration
    • Designed, installed, and tested hardware on site
    • Performed monthly calibrations for each CUORE dataset

Texas A&M

  • CMS trigger study for search for Supersymmetry via coannihilation, 2012-2013
    • Studied efficiency of HLT_PFMET150 trigger
    • Studied Monte Carlo events through PFMet150 trigger
    • Used CMS Tier3 site with grid computing
  • Analysis technique comparison, 2010-2011
    • Compared using two selection criteria to a single selection criteria
    • Calculated the expected cross section limits for each analysis technique on results from CDF data

Papers

Yale

Selected list of papers where I have made significant contributions. Due to my contributions on CUORE, I am an author on all collaboration papers, as is standard practice in the field. See more at INSPIRE.
