SYNC is an annual linguistics conference that serves as a platform for graduate students from Stony Brook, Yale, NYU, and CUNY to disseminate research results, exchange ideas, and more broadly, foster a sense of community. SYNC is in its 19th year.

The scope of SYNC includes all areas of theoretical and applied linguistics, reflecting the local linguistics community’s broad research interests.

This year’s conference will take place on December 9th, 2017 at Yale University.
