About me

I enjoy learning new things and solving complex problems. I’ve spent the last decade learning about the rules and principles that govern our knowledge of language. I recently received a PhD in Linguistics from Yale University. In my academic research, I focused on the structure and meaning of sentences (Syntax and Semantics) in non-standard dialects of English. My project arose from my involvement with the Yale Grammatical Diversity Project and a desire to understand the aspects of grammar that are subconscious.
