Welcome

I am Assistant Professor of International Affairs and Associate Director of the Master of Arts International Affairs Program in the Elliott School of International Affairs at The George Washington University. I’m also a faculty affiliate at the Elliott School’s Institute for Security and Conflict Studies, Sigur Center for Asian Studies, and Institute for Korean Studies. I’ve previously held fellowships at the Elliott School’s Institute for Security and Conflict Studies, the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at the Harvard Kennedy School, the MacMillan Center Program on Japanese Politics and Diplomacy at Yale University, and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. I’m also an alum (2017) of the Summer Workshop on the Analysis of Military Operations and Strategy (SWAMOS). I received my Ph.D. in political science from Yale University in 2021. I also have an M.A. in security studies from Georgetown University and a B.A. in political science and international relations from the University of British Columbia.
