For the academic year 2019-20 I am a predoctoral fellow with the Institute for Security and Conflict Studies at the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University. I am currently a doctoral candidate studying international relations in the Department of Political Science at Yale University. I’ve previously held fellowships at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University, the MacMillan Center Program on Japanese Politics and Diplomacy at Yale University, and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. I’m also a recent (2017) alum of the Summer Workshop on the Analysis of Military Operations and Strategy (SWAMOS). I graduated with an M.A. in security studies from Georgetown University in 2012 and with a B.A. in political science and international relations from the University of British Columbia in 2010.
