Sexual and Gender Discrimination at Yale

Under the federal Title IX mandate, universities must protect you from sexual discrimination.

Yale has an office devoted to enforcing Title IX.  You can also find out who the Yale Title IX coordinators are.

Official complaints are heard by the University Wide Committee on Sexual Misconduct, or UWC.  You can find out who sits on the UWC.  A member of our community, Michael Della Rocca, formerly chaired the UWC and still sits on it.

Racial and Ethnic Discrimination at Yale

Under the federal Title VI mandate, universities must protect you from racial discrimination.
