As the Student Success Coach at the Wisconsin School of Business, I work directly with undergraduate Business Badgers to provide them with holistic success coaching.  This involves meeting 1-on-1 with students as well as hosting workshops throughout the academic year on topics ranging from how to mentally and emotionally prepare for midterm exams to applying social psychological principles in your life.  I work with these students to help them thrive beyond their potential, including connecting them to campus and community resources, navigating out of class concerns that may be impacting their academic progress, and guiding them to improve their academic skills.

I recently completed my PhD in Social and Personality Psychology at Yale University working with Professor Margaret Clark. My research interests broadly focus on the functions of verbal and nonverbal emotional expressions for building and maintaining healthy close relationships.

My primary career objective is to improve the creation and dissemination of knowledge at an academic institution, whether through enhancing curriculum for students, advising and recruiting the next generation of scholars, enhancing undergraduate and graduate education, supporting research, or communicating the work of the institution to the broader public.
