Some readers may be interested in “A Common Word Between Us and You,” a letter from “138 Muslim scholars, clerics, and intellectuals” addressed to “all Christians everywhere” (this description is from the  “Common Word” website here), and in reading, and perhaps signing, a Christian response, “Loving God and Neighbor Together,” which is posted here at the Yale Center for Faith and Culture website.  The Christian response appeared as a full-page ad in the New York times (pdf document), but follow the earlier link for the complete list of signatories (and to sign yourself, if you wish to).
