About me

I’m a graduate student and doctoral candidate in the linguistics department at Yale.

I’m primarily interested in semantics of verbal inflectional categories, theories of language change and the relationship between these two domains of inquiry (‘meaning change’, if you will). I work mainly with creole languages and Australian languages (in particular those spoken in Arnhem Land) in order to get at these questions.

I work with, and am primarily advised by Claire Bowern and a member of her comparative/historical Pama-Nyungan lab.

This website is currently under construction; manuscripts and my CV are available .
