OUR GROUP consists of a mix of physical and mathematical scientists ranging from undergraduates to faculty. We do our work using coffee, paper, pencil, numerical methods, experiments in a fluid dynamics and ice physics laboratory.
OUR RESEARCH harnesses approaches and methods from modern applied mathematics and physics, experiments and numerical simulations to probe a broad range of problems from the microscopic theory of melting to the mechanisms underlying cosmogony. We publish our work on these topics in a wide range of venues.
OUR COLLABORATIONS, colleagues and students at Yale span many departments and programs; Applied Mathematics, Astronomy, Earth & Planetary Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, and the School of Engineering and Applied Science.
