Along with Kirsty Dootson, I’m organizing a bananas one-day conference on Interstellar and Mad Max: Fury Road for 12 September 2015. The CFP explains the details. The whole thing will be intense: we start by screening Mad Max at 9am, panels all day, end with Interstellar. We have some great people coming—film folks, exoplanetary scientists, ecocritics… But there is still plenty of room. Proposals are due 31 July to interstellarmax@gmail.com.
