Damhsa Yale Irish Dancers (Damhsa)

The Damhsa Yale Irish Dancers welcome both newcomers and experienced dancers to participate in the art of Irish step dancing through rehearsals and local performances for the Yale and New Haven community. The name Damhsa means “dance” in Irish Gaelic. Damhsa is fully student-run, and it reaches out to local Irish dance teachers (TCRGs) for guided instruction. Rehearsals typically take place on late Friday afternoons at 60 Sachem St. Please contact Lauren McNeel or Alexandra Leone¬†for more information..
