Adam B. Roddy: Plant Physiology, Ecology, Evolution

I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies.  I am broadly interested in biosphere-atmosphere interactions with an emphasis on plants and water.  My research describes mechanisms of long distance water transport in plants, elucidates the evolutionary implications of variation in hydraulic capacity, and traces the impacts of this variation on the environment.  The flowering plants and their reproductive organs are of particularly central importance in this work.
